The Uncluttered Room.
Sarah was noticing that nowadays, her room was getting rather cluttered. Her bookshelf seemed far too small for the amount of books she had. And there barely seemed to be space for her toys. Her chair was dumped with clothes and her desk was filled with books that won't fit in the bookshelf.
That morning,Sarah decided to clean her room. She took a quick shower, went in the kitchen, and arranged a tray of a few cookies,an apple, and poured out a glass of juice. She took the tray to her room, and sat on her bed with a notebook,a pen and the tray of food. While she ate,she made a list of stuff she needed to do.
Here's what it looked like:
-Give away some books that are not needed.
-Add another rack to the bookshelf.
-Buy a clothes stand to hang clothes and stuff on.
-Get the curtains dry-cleaned. (they are getting dirty)
Sarah decided to start with the bookshelf. She finished the juice, and ate the remaining cookies. Then returned the tray to the kitchen, and came back into her room. She took out all the books from the bookshelf and piled them on her bed. She sorted out some books to gift to her friend, Hanya, her maids children, and her little sister. Even after taking away all those books, her books won't fit in the shelf. She then asked her brother,Usama to help her add another rack to her bookshelf. They cut a shelf-rack and nailed it onto her bookshelf. Sarah thanked Usama, and then ticked that off her list. Then she gifted the books ad ticked that off too.She dusted he bookshelf and neatly arranged her books. She then also cleaned her desk, which was now free from books, and put on it a pen holder, a sketch pad,and a notebook along with a few other things.
Soon, her mother called her for lunch. She ate some sandwiches, returned to her room, and lay down for an afternoon nap.
When she woke up,her parents told her they were going out. Sarah quickly washed her face, and combed her hair,Then they sat into the car. they went into a shop. While their parents chose some chairs for their garden, Sarah chose a cloth stand for her room. Soon they left the shop. On the way back, They gave the curtain to the dry cleaners shop to be dry cleaned. When they reached home, the children helped unload the car. Sarah picked up her cloth stand and put it into the room. Even though the curtains hadn't been dry cleaned yet, Sarah felt as if she was in a palace, and having a clean and uncluttered room is the best option of all.
