It is Ramadan and the weather is getting unbearably hot. There are over a 1000 heatwave deaths in Sindh and Karachi.  Almost everyone wonders why there is a sudden rise in temperatures! Why is it getting too hot???? Why are we always freezing or boiling? Global Warming is the answer. Let me explain this thing to you. There is a protective layer outside the earth called the Ozone Layer. All the pollution has caused a hole in the Ozone Layer. The Ozone Layer used to Protect the earth from the Sun's harmful rays. Now the sun shines right through the hole. We cannot patch up this hole!!! All we can do is to stop it from getting more hot. But we're not doing much, are we???? "Factories cause Pollution!," you'll say. "We're completely innocent!" Or are we? We are not. We have a fair share for causing Global Warming! A complex machine is a machine made out of 2 or more simple machines. This is my second complex machine, The Manual Grinder. The purpose of this machine is to grind wheat, corn, rice, or grains of any sort. It is better than the Electric Grinder because it does not use any energy. To grind your grains in this machine, you have to empty your crops in the white box with two wheels inside and an axle sticking out.  When you turn the axle, the wheels will move, crushing the grains inside.You have to turn the axle till the grains are completely powdered. Then you have to push a lever (on the side of the box in the picture below)which reveals an opening at the end of the box, and the grounded grains slide down the inclined plain , and into the box. There! Your grains are grounded, and ready to use.

Did you know that both your fingers and toes have prints on them? Each finger in this world has a different print, though there are four basic prints:                       Composite                                                                                     The whorl, the loop, the Arch, and the composite. Click the Green Flag to start. I made this project exclusively for Thinker's Club.  A few days ago,(the  day after it rained) when I went to the roof to get down the washing, I stared at the sky. It was so clear-as the clouds and pullotion had come down with the rain, I tried to remember  and spot any constellations in the sky- and I remembered, only one constellation with the shape- the Big Dipper. As I stared hard into the sky, I spotted it! It was quite far away(the pictures on the net are  probably close ups) but I saw it! I felt so pleased! IT felt wonderful to see it.
