Review: The first session of Thinker's Club.

We have started a Thinker's Club or 'Halqa e Ghor o fikr' in Urdu. Over there we think about several issues and discuss what we should think about and what are we thinking. The first session took place in ERDC,3rd August,Sunday,2014. Here's a report that I wrote about it. If you're interested, please view this link to view the Thinker's Club Website:
thinkersclubonline.blogspot.com. Here's the review:

Today was the first session of our Thinker's Club. We had invited several kids, and finally,14 kids turned up. First we all introduced our selves and told 3 things about our self. Afterwards,we discussed lots of things like What's the most important topic to think about? and Is there any question that you wondered about but you couldn't get the answer? or Is there any thing that you thought about but you didn't ask about it because you thought it was a really silly question? Then we were divided equally in two groups and we thought up questions regarding the Human Brain. We also thought up silly questions and afterwards shared them with the other group. We ended with another discussion. The homework was to observe and think: Do animals have brains and do they think? Which is going to be fun to think about! This session was great and the next will be greater. Thinker's Club is fun!

  1. Great! I love the idea of thinkers’ club. I wish I could be a member of this club. But I’m a little older, in fact much older to fit in to the age groups. Anyways! I still could enjoy the interesting questions that you’ll be posting on the blog. Waiting to read about the next session.

  2. Wow! Thinkers' Club sounds like an awesome idea!! It sounds pretty cool too! For WIs there any question that you wondered about but you couldn't get the answer?" I would probably pick an answer about infinity, eternity, time or light. When you think into them, it can get confusing! Looking forward to new posts - I put a follow on the blog. :)
