Save the Animals!
Thousands of Animals out there in the world,
Are hopeless-starved to death,
And although we're pretending not to know,
We're giving those animals a threat.
A threat for hunting and shooting them out,
A threat for making them die,
A threat that means to destroy their homes,
A threat that's mean and sly.
We aim to cut down all the trees,
And hope to dirty the land,
We try to make the earth polluted,
And now it's getting out of hand.
But what we're starting to forget is,
That the animals live here, too,
It's not their fault but they are too,
Suffering with me and you!!!
Are hopeless-starved to death,
And although we're pretending not to know,
We're giving those animals a threat.
A threat for hunting and shooting them out,
A threat for making them die,
A threat that means to destroy their homes,
A threat that's mean and sly.
We aim to cut down all the trees,
And hope to dirty the land,
We try to make the earth polluted,
And now it's getting out of hand.
But what we're starting to forget is,
That the animals live here, too,
It's not their fault but they are too,
Suffering with me and you!!!
This is such an amazing and meaningful poem, Zainab!! You're really improving in poetry, seriously! I just love the rhythm you've created in this poem... and it's so true, too! It's a shame how all these acts people do build up and threaten the innocent animals. D: You've really depicted it well in this poem! Way to go! <3
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot kenza for your inspiring comments! :)
DeleteBeautiful! We need more people who care, and I can see that you do.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda!!!
DeleteI so, so, so, so, so, so LOVE this poem!! The true meaning behind it, the reality, the truth, the thing that we are not going to admit, oh, the beauty of this poem is so...................
ReplyDeleteWho cares about them? Nearly 99% won't. It's so mean, and sly, you are true! (Actually, i'm not eating chocolate for a reason). They cut down their homelands for plantations of cocoa and rubber, they
shoot and kill them, they, it's INFURIATING!! (To me it is, really)
I feel its all true. The culprit is right there, in the room, with you.
